The Climb!

This morning, I am reflecting on one of my favorite quotes, it is from one of my favorite sermons: “The path to your greatest potential is often straight through your greatest fear” – Craig Groeschel

Life is tough to say the least!  Just when I think things are going smoothly, there is another twist in the road, another mountain to climb, more hurtles to jump!  And at this moment in my life, the mountain I am facing looks SCARY!!!

God has taught me so much in the last few years.  He has changed my mode of thinking, re-directed my life, and helped me see His endless love!  He has helped me learn that trials do not mean He left my side, but that He is closer than ever to me!   He has brought me through some of my greatest fears in the last three years and for that I am grateful!

My worldly mind wants to analyze every situation, trying to find the answers long before a solution is necessary, and to always "secure" my next step.  But God has a different plan!  One of trusting that HE alone has the answers and that security comes from a life surrendered to His will!  Trusting that He sees a much bigger picture is key to receiving His blessings and resting in His perfect peace!

So today, I repeat to myself another great quote from Rick Warren: " Perspective determines whether you are blessed or stressed!"   Stop sulking in your misery, stop doubting that God has an ultimate plan for your life, and trust that He has you safe in His arms!    You never know, when you finish climbing that "impossible" mountain, you might just find He wanted to show you an incredible view!!!

Here's to a great day!!!

Thought I would end with one of my girls favorite songs!
